
TCT is the port and terminal operator of the PTB Group in Iran. TCT was founded in 1972 and since then has built and operated over 1.3 million sqm of customs bonded and container terminals, ICD and warehouses in Iranian ports, inland cities and borders.
Bandar Abbas Multi Purpose Terminal
The Group has built and owns 400’000 sqm of terminals and 12’000 sqm of covered warehousing in the heart of Bandar Abbas Container Port (Shahid Rajaee) for logistics, handling CIS transit cotton, general cargo, Iranian import/export cargo and handles 150’000 TEUs import cargo annually.
This terminals complex is railway-linked and equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art RTGs and has facilitated the opening of the Iranian transit route for annually 600’000 tons of Uzbek transit cotton through PTB Group network to South East Asia and Far Eastern countries since 1996.
The complex has annual capacity of loading and discharging 2 million tons of cargo, and the average daily capacity of loading and discharging 400 containers and 3’500 tons conventional cargo.
Among other activities, Maersk Line, HMM, PIL, and COSCO Shipping Lines' containers are exclusively handled through our facilities.
